Job Description

Estimation & Planning engineers use the preliminary research data and review of project deliverables to prepare the cost estimates for the entire project. They should have knowledge of required specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates for ongoing projects. Researched and evaluated subcontractors based on price, quality, selection, service, and support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) & bills with item rates from tender
• Prepare & process subcontractor bills
• To take the measurement from the site engineer
• Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors and contractors
• Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope
• Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
• Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and client
• Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
• Co-ordinate with Execution team and Update the Daily, Weekly and Monthly progress report.

Required Candidate profile

• Qualification: BE / DCE (Civil)
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in construction company in Commercial and Residential projects
• Should also have experience in Client Billing in Contracting firm.
• Candidate should have good knowledge of estimation of quantities, and working out quantities from drawings.
• Should be able to prepare Project Budgets, Detailed BOQs, Rate analysis & Reconciliations
• Should be able to prepare Sub contractor and client bills.
• Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors
• Should be available to join immediately,
• Knowledge of MS Project, MS Excel, AUTOCAD is a must.
