Job Description
Construction supervisors are responsible for the management and safety of construction projects. Through planning, organizing, and controlling projects, they create an efficient and safe workplace, including materials and personnel.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and safety or sanitation standards.
- Assist the Project Manager in directing construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
- Assist in planning and preparing schedules, monitor day to day work progress.
- Plan and manage manpower, maintain record of material and manpower of ongoing projects.
- Co-ordination with all contractor and sub-contractor.
- Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material — Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- To overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a Project and reporting to Project Manager.
- Ensure that subcontractor activities are carried out in accordance with the approved subcontractor quality plan.
- Inspects the quality of work on a day-to-day basis and ensuring that drawing data and specifications are adhered to.
- Maintaining all records of work executed and checked such as – checklist, pour cards, post concrete inspections, material reconciliation, bills, and debit notes etc.
Requirements and skills
- 3 – 5 years experiences in Construction field is a must
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
- Creative problem solving
- Knowledge of MS Office is a must.
Education Qualification
- 12th or Graduate in any field
